Line Editing and Copyediting

Surface editing for grammatical and spelling errors. During this process, editors also make minor revision suggestions to help you reach your audience with your best writing.

Proofreading

Final-touch polishing before the work goes to print. Edits for this round are done on paper, although we can transfer them to electronic copy if that suits your needs.

Reader's Response

Professional feedback on the overall concept and presentation of the book. This is especially helpful for authors who want guidance in self-editing or revising before deeper editing begins.

Pre-Editing Consultation

Pre-editing consultations help guide the author’s writing process. By discussing the story or chapter at hand with an Indigo consultant, you can keep your writing muscles flexing and gain perspective on your writing as it’s still in the creation stage.

Creation and editing of book proposals, including genre and sales evaluations, marketing agendas, publisher research, and manuscript polishing.
